The book “Assessment of education quality in the context of distance learning” was published in Moscow. The publication is the result of the work of the World Bank specialists together with the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the Eurasian Association for the Assessment of the Quality of Education with support of the READ Program. The book focuses on the challenges faced by education systems in the context of the global pandemic and the decisions made in response. The key topic of the publication is the transition to distance learning forms of education, which affected the majority of schoolchildren and teachers around the world. The book contains overviewed international data and publications, as well as the practices of different countries and regions of Russia, which developed during the pandemic and have shown their effectiveness and versatility in the context of the massive transition to distance education.
