Start of cross-country research project

The conduction of the cross-country research includes application of the Russian tool for education quality monitoring, application of its localized versions, involvement of local country teams, further support to the established partnerships. The research will secure continuation and consistency of READ activities and efforts.

Student Achievements’ Monitoring (SAM) as a main quality assessment tool developed within the Russian component of the READ-1 program that will be used for the research conduction. SAM is an assessment tool for diagnosing of subject competencies and subject content acquisition for primary school. 

The main objective of the research is analysis of correlations between teaching approaches to teaching mathematics and level development of Math competence in primary school.
