READ 2 Reimbursable Advisory Services (RAS) Program Update

The READ 2 RAS Program continues supporting Russia in building the capacity of its experts and researchers in measuring and improving the quality of education. Since its launch, the Program has supported the introduction of a Doctoral Degree Program in Educational Measurement and Evaluation, a Master of Arts Degree Program in Education Quality, training programs in education quality, and a Small Grants Program.

The READ Council Meeting in Paris took place in December 2018. The READ program presented on its progress and received advice on the next steps. As part of the RAS component, the team presented the results of the recent survey of the Eurasian Association of Quality Evaluation (EAOKO).

On February 18-22, 2019, the RTC delivered a five-day workshop “International Comparative Studies in Education Quality Assessment System as a Mechanism for School Learning Improvement” for specialists from the education management and education quality evaluation systems of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The PhD program at the Higher School of Economics was launched in September 2018. Currently nine research proposals have been identified and supported. The team will be sharing the most interesting developments by the researchers in the near future.
